I use fresh parsley in this terrine recipe but youcany use fresh cilantro as it pairs well with the flavour of lemon.

For a fancy presentation, line the inside of a ramekin with plastic wrap, then line with thinly sliced smoked salmon (extra pieces, not from 8oz used in recipe) making sure to leave enough overhang to cover the bottom of the pate. Then fill with the pate, wrap over the overhanging salmon. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. Invert onto serving plate to release and decorate with a dill sprig.

Easy and simple steps for sausage croissant. Cream cheese and egg whites may be omitted. Sausages may be fried before rolled in dough. Although I found it too greasy for a croissant. I haven't try absorbing the oil with a paper towel though. If ever you try it, please leave a feedback on the reviews section. Thanks! <3

This is my mother's recipe for ratatouille, given to me almost 30 years ago. It makes wonderful use of the summer harvest of eggplant, tomatoes, green peppers and zucchini. It is delicious, colorful, and very versatile. It goes great as a side dish, with some cold roasted chicken, in an omelette, over pasta, or even in a sandwich! I don't know why, but I find this tastes even better a day later. I guess it gives the flavors a chance to really marry.

One of our favorite soups is at Olive garden, and i hated how stingy with the potatoes and italian sausage they were, which is the best parts.so i decided to do it bigger and better at home. This simple soup makes a great appitizer and even makes for a great main entree!

A simple, inexpensive French chicken and rice dish. Adapted from the Eat for Eight Bucks column by Robin Bellinger at Serious Eats. http://bit.ly/bN1bI9 Leftover stock can be frozen. The rest of the head of lettuce and the unused parsley can be tossed with a simple vinaigrette to make a nice salad to go alongside.

Julia Child's recipe for a lemon butter sauce. I served this over asparagus and it was wonderful. I think the possibilities for it are endless, would be great over many other vegetables and meats.

A simple baked dish of sliced eggplant, tomatoes, and onion that is so delicious! From Melissa D'Arabian. I did sprinkle some dried herbs (herbs de provance) over the vegetables before baking.
